Original Oil Painting - "Doing the Number, FA-18E"

With the signature Mach vapor cone in tow, this FA-18E Super Hornet is clearly supersonic. Atmospherics are just right for excellent vapes today. The highly maneuverable Super Hornet is not necessarily the fastest fighter in the sky but when configured with a single centerline tank and Air-to-Air load out it has a chance at this supersonic run. Typically, a low altitude supersonic pass would be done in a slick aircraft but for this piece I wanted to give it some teeth with 4xAAMRAM and a couple Sidewinder missiles. Oil on canvas, 24 x 18
